Syria's President Bashar Al Assad is considering a request to evacuate 7 children with cancer & blood disorder from Ghouta, a Damascus suburb which has been under siege for four years. He is to give a response to the Union of Medical care and Relief organisations on Tuesday Dec 26. The 7 children are among 125 - under the age of 12 - in Ghouta needing urgent medical treatment. Dr Ghanem Tayara is the Chairman of Union of Medical care and Relief organisations (UOSSM). He told RFI's Zeenat Hansrod (Twitter @zxnt) that, as an aid worker, he has never witnessed a humanitarian disaster of this scale
