WHO IS MEHAD?

Mehad is health and international solidarity NGO operating in areas of conflict where healthcare rights have been denied.

The NGO was established in 2011 at the outset of the Syrian crisis by doctors from the French Syrian diaspora. Mehad now runs about forty healthcare centers in the country. Throughout the years, and drawing on its experience in crisis areas, the NGO has widened its scope of action to cover countries bordering Syria, Ukraine, Palestine, Yemen, and, most recently, Lebanon.

Every year, Mehad provides healthcare services to over 892.000 beneficiaries. Our NGO is supported by a network of nearly 500 professionals working in the field. We are firmly committed to constructive collaboration with local players.

They support us

Over the years, Mehad has surrounded itself with reliable and experienced partners. These partnerships, rooted in trust and mutual respect, are essential to the success of our NGO’s actions. As a result, Mehad has become a privileged partner to whom many French and international institutions have granted or are granting their trust and financial support.
