In October 2024, Doha was suffering from severe malnutrition, weighed 8 kg and measured 78 cm, while the circumference of her arm was 11.9 cm. However, thanks to the considerable efforts of the hospital’s medical and nutritional team and four months of continuous care, her condition has improved considerably to 9.7 kg, 78.5 cm in height and 12.7 cm in arm circumference.
These results testify to the soundness of the medical care and adherence to appropriate nutritional therapy. The hospital’s nutrition technician praised the team’s dedication, stressing that the improvement in Doha’s condition was the result of the comprehensive care and ongoing monitoring provided by the medical team.
Duha’s mother expressed her deep gratitude for the excellent services her daughter has received, while highlighting the challenges the family faces, such as the distance between care centres and difficult living conditions.
