Dialysis centre in Abu Hamam – eastern Deir Ezzor countryside

4 November 2025

The Dialysis Centre in Abu Hamam continues to provide its vital and distinguished medical services to kidney failure patients in this remote area of the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside, with the continuous support of MEHAD

More than 40 patients from the town of Abu Hamam and neighbouring villages and towns benefit from the centre’s services, which provides approximately 300 dialysis sessions per month under the supervision of specialised medical staff. The centre contributes significantly to alleviating the suffering of patients from the hardship of travelling long distances and the high costs of treatment elsewhere.

These ongoing efforts reflect MEHAD’s commitment to bringing quality healthcare services to the most vulnerable and needy communities, especially in areas that lack access to health providers.
