The Mehad Organisation held a meeting at the Deir Ezzor Health Directorate to discuss the current challenges facing the health sector, and to discuss mechanisms to support the continuity and expansion of health services in various areas of the governorate.
During the meeting, the Director of Health of Deir Ezzor discussed with the MAHAD team the most important health priorities and opportunities for cooperation to enhance the quality of services provided in medical facilities.
In a related context, a delegation from MEHAD, headed by Dr Ziad Al-Issa – President of the organisation – carried out a field tour of Deir Ezzor City Hospital and the operating rooms, after the hospital was provided with medical surgical equipment to enhance the readiness of the operating room.
During the visit, the delegation was briefed on the performance of the equipment provided and the room’s needs for additional equipment to improve the surgical services provided to patients.
These efforts come as part of MEHAD’s commitment to support the health system in Syria, enhance the efficiency and sustainability of health services, and contribute to improving the level of health provided to people in various regions.
