The scene is sadly familiar to us, Mehad’s teams in Syria. The nights filled with the sound of bombardments, the days when civilians are forced to flee for their lives, and the stories of suffering that keep piling up. This is the harsh reality we face as a humanitarian organisation working in emergency situations. The cries of pain and despair resound not only in Idleb, but also in Gaza, where our hearts clench at the sight of the devastating impact of the war on civilian populations.
