Today, the clinic visited the Hittin School shelter, where medical care was provided to Uncle Mohammed Rashid, 47 years old, a displaced person from the Shahba areas and originally from the Jinderes district in Afrin.
Uncle Rashid suffers from chronic illnesses and was recently suffering from severe chest pains.
Thanks to the mobile clinic, a comprehensive medical consultation and free treatment was provided without the need to travel long distances to hospitals or private clinics.
Speaking about the importance of this service, Uncle Rashid said: “The mobile clinic was a relief for us in our suffering, instead of travelling to private clinics, the clinic came here and treated me with efficiency and care.”
Through this initiative, MEHAD seeks to emphasise that the right to health is a right for all, and the mobile clinic works to reduce the distances between beneficiaries and healthcare services, alleviating their daily suffering and making a direct positive impact on their lives.
The mobile clinic continues to provide its services on a regular schedule, to meet the needs of all targeted shelters in the region.
