What if this year you set yourself a sporting challenge for a cause that counts?
Mehad is once again taking part in the “Dossards Solidaires” operation, a unique opportunity to combine sporting effort and humanitarian commitment at the Paris Half Marathon on 9 March 2025 and the Paris Marathon on 13 April 2025 .
The runners taking part under the Mehad banner show their solidarity by taking part in these world-renowned events. This is an opportunity to raise public awareness of the humanitarian situation in Syria, Ukraine, Palestine, Yemen and Lebanon, where Mehad works every day to provide access to healthcare for people affected by conflict.
By choosing a Mehad Solidarity Bib for the Paris Half Marathon, you commit to running 21 km and collecting €210 in donations from your friends and family (i.e. €10 per km). For the Paris Marathon, take up the 42.195 km challenge and collect €420 in donations (the equivalent of €10 per km) to support Mehad.
How does a Solidarity Bib work?
- I’m registering: book your race number for the Half Marathon here or for the Marathon here.
- I’m committed to collecting donations: mobilise your friends and family to raise the required amount (€210 for the Half Marathon, €420 for the Marathon, all of which will be donated to Mehad’s charity.
- I’m taking part in the race: with your solidarity number, you can join thousands of other participants for a unique sporting and solidarity experience on D-Day!
Every donation made to Mehad entitles the donor to a tax reduction of 75% of the amount of the donation. So a donation of €100 costs just €25, a benefit that will help motivate your friends and family to support you in this great cause!
