
Damascus, Syria – Saturday, 1 November 2052 – MEHAD and the Syria Reconstruction Trust Fund (SRTF) signed an agreement to launch the fifth phase of the health project“Provision of Basic Health Care Services in Deir Ezzor Governorate“.
Building on the success of previous phases, this project aims to strengthen high-quality primary healthcare services for the most affected populations in Deir Ezzor. The initiative will continue to support the delivery of services at two primary healthcare centres, a mobile clinic, and two dialysis centres, ensuring continuity in the provision of vital health services.
The services provided under the project include maternal and child care, prevention and management of communicable and non-communicable diseases, mental health services, health awareness sessions, and nutrition services. The project will also provide basic services for diagnostic laboratories, as well as the necessary medicines to improve the condition of patients.
President of MEHAD, Dr Ziad al-Issa, said:

The project will benefit at least 113,895 patients and 569,475 family members directly, and more than 937,271 community members indirectly.
