The devastating consequences of air attacks in Ukraine

5 January 2024

At the start of 2024, Kiev and Kharkiv were rocked by Russian air attacks, causing the heartbreaking loss of at least five lives and injuring 20 people. At this difficult time, our thoughts are with all those affected and their loved ones.

The aftermath of these air attacks leaves behind a picture of destruction and suffering. The communities affected face immense challenges as they strive to rebuild and heal the wounds inflicted by these tragic acts.

Our unwavering dedication in Ukraine

In the face of this devastating crisis, our dedication to health and well-being remains unwavering. Mehad is ready to provide immediate support to those affected and to the valiant healthcare professionals on the ground.

Our training programmes in action

At Mehad, we believe that sharing medical knowledge is an essential key to building resilient healthcare systems, particularly in times of crisis. That’s why we’re stepping up our medical training programmes, in partnership with the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to meet critical needs in areas affected by air strikes.

These programmes are not just training, but investments in community resilience. With your support, we can extend these initiatives to further strengthen medical capacity in Ukraine.
